Mother's Day

Today is a somewhat bittersweet day for us…

Both Eric and I are missing our own moms, who never had the chance to meet their beautiful granddaughters.

We’re feeling the loss of Emma’s twin sister today, too.

Despite a bit of sadness, though, today was a wonderful day.

I received the bestest presents and had to share them…

Big Sister made a lovely bouquet for me:

    WOW…What beautiful gifts. Nathan made me this broachin the shape of a star. I wore it out to lunch on Sunday.

    I’m going to wear it to school today. It will make hhim feel good. AND we all need abit of that.
